How Much Do You Know About Tablet Coating Machine?
High-efficiency tablet coating machine is a kind of high-efficiency, energy-saving, safe and clean mechatronics equipment that can perform organic film coating, water-soluble film coating, slow and controlled release coating on tablets, pills, candies, etc.
The tablet coating machine is suitable for pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industries. According to the material of the pot body, it can be divided into two types: stainless steel and copper.

But in fact, even as an efficient and safe machine, there will be more or less some problems in the use of the process, the existence of these problems will greatly affect the quality of the coating, so here are some efficient solutions to help you solve the problems encountered in the actual operation.
The first problem is sticky sheet mostly occurs in the package isolation layer. The reason is that the surface of the plain sheet is not bright, the single syrup is added too much and the temperature is low, the water evaporation is slow, the stirring is not timely, and the adhesion is caused by each other.
Measures: One is to control the syrup between 40 ℃ ~ 50 ℃, and the ratio of the syrup to the plain tablet should be 800 ~ 900ml/30kg. Second, the sugar content of the syrup should be constant, preferably 360g/L. Third, the stirring should be timely and uniform, and the temperature of the pot should be kept at 50 °C.
Second, because of the water content of the exposed edge particles, coupled with improper pressure regulation, the plain sheet has rough edges. After the addition of syrup, the amount of syrup adhered to the rough edge of the edge of the plain sheet was large. After friction in the coating pot, the syrup was gradually lost, resulting in the edge of the plain sheet being exposed.
Measures: First, the plain sheet should be fully dry and the moisture should be controlled in 2% ~ 3%. When the plain piece is screened to remove small particles, a little force can be applied to remove the rough edge. Second, increase the coating layer appropriately. Third, you need to properly control the humidity in the pot, so as not to distribute water too fast.
Cracking, one is that the hardness of the plain sheet does not meet the requirements, after sizing, water into the plain sheet infiltration, when the tension of the plain sheet is greater than the surface tension of the coating layer, there will be cracking phenomenon.
Second, the quality of talc is not good, there is carbonate, coated after placement, carbonate and acid extract reaction to produce carbon dioxide, resulting in flake coat cracking.
Measures:First, the hardness of the plain sheet should be moderate, reduce the water infiltration in the coating process, in addition to controlling the amount of syrup and talcum powder, but also pay attention to adjust the temperature in the pot, do many times the thin layer dry quickly. The second is to choose good quality medical talc. Third, the finished products are packed to ensure airtight moisture proof.
The causes of color spots are: first, soluble pigment migrates during drying; second, the color paste is uneven and uneven; third, the temperature is too high (at this time, the temperature is not easy to exceed 40℃). Fourth, the color paste is uneven or the amount of each addition is not equal.
Measures: Choose insoluble pigments, such as Lake; The pigment with warm water to remove salt (pigment salt content in less than 30%); To make the coating piece one-sided flat and smooth, once the color spots appear, with light paste pull processing, control pot temperature.
Each time you add liquid or removing powder, it should be distributed evenly; after each addition of liquid and distribution, it should be fully dried before adding the solution again. The viscosity of the solution should not be too large, otherwise it will not be easy to distribute evenly, etc.
In the production, the powder coating layer is often used in the slurry mixing method, that is, the powder is suspended in the binder solution and added to the rotating tablet. This method can reduce dust and simplify the process.
The finished product after coating must be dried at low temperature (preferably air-dried), and constantly turned; avoid exposure to the sun and high temperature drying, otherwise it will easily make the pills oily and discolored.
After the blower is turned on, it is strictly forbidden to block the blower opening with hands or other objects, so as not to damage the blower.
I believe that if you can understand these problems clearly and put them into practice, I believe that you will save more time and improve production efficiency in the subsequent use of the tablet coating machine.
But at the same time, the maintenance work in the later stage of the machine is also very important. Every maintenance and maintenance is to keep the machine in a good working condition at all times. You can take care of your tablet coating machine in the following ways
First, the lubricating oil in the reducer box should be changed regularly as required.
Second, If the sugar-coated pot is not used for a long time, it should be cleaned, and the surface of the copper pot should be oiled to prevent the copper body of the pot from being oxidized or damp and producing toxic copper compounds.
Third, in order to ensure the lubrication condition of the worm gear pair transmission in the deceleration box, the temperature of the box in operation shall not exceed 50℃.
Fourth, the sealing ring at the end of the worm shaft should be checked and replaced regularly, generally not more than six months.
Fifth, the machine must be reliably grounded, its grounding resistance should be less than 4 ω.
Sixth, electrical appliances and belt shields shall not be removed casually.
