The good barrier properties of blister packs are due to the choice of the raw material aluminium foil and plastic rigid sheets. The aluminium box has a highly dense metallic crystal structure with good barrier and light-shielding properties, while the plastic rigid sheet must have sufficient barrier properties against oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapour, high transparency and non-cracking mechanical strength.
Currently, the most common pharmaceutical blister packaging materials are PVC sheet and PVDC (polyvinylidene chloride).

C.Punch assisted blow moulding
With the help of the punch, the heated and softened film is pressed into the mould cavity, and when the punch is fully pressed in, compressed air is introduced to make the film stick to the inner wall of the mould cavity, completing the forming process.
Punch-assisted forming is mostly used for flat blister packaging, which can be used to obtain uniform, large scale and messy blister shapes after reasonable planning.
D.Convex and concave die cold stamping forming
When the rigidity of the selected packaging material is larger (such as composite aluminum), the thermal forming method is obviously not applicable, but the use of convex and concave die cold stamping forming method, that is, the convex and concave die together, the film forming process, in which the air is discharged from the exhaust holes in the molding die.
5.How To Operate High-speed Aluminum Blister Packaging Machine
The specific correct sequence of operation of the high-speed blister packaging machine is as follows.

(i)Set the cooling temperature gauge to the right temperature when the heating and heat sealing plates are brought up to the right temperature (which should normally be 30°C).
6.Precautions When Maintaining The High-speed Aluminum Blister Packaging Machine
High-speed aluminium and plastic packaging machine after the use of the following matters should be noted.
- The machine should be kept clean, frequent wiping and lubrication of rotating parts.
- Cam mechanism, drive chain components should be lubricated every 15-40 working hours. It is recommended to use mechanical oil of grade 50. For gear meshing grease should be added once every three months, calcium-based grease is recommended.
- The glue machine screen and the gun holder screen should be cleaned regularly, once every 3-4 months on an 8-hour basis.
- Synchronous tooth-shaped belt and transmission tape should avoid contact with oil, so as not to reduce its service life.
- Ensure that the packaging machine can work properly and reliably, should be stopped every three months to check the tensioning of the transmission chain and the tightness of the transmission parts, if necessary, re-adjustment and tightening.
- Regular maintenance work on the packaging machine, but also to reduce the number of machine maintenance, in order to prevent the emergence of failure and preventive maintenance, maintenance prevention, routine maintenance, improvement of maintenance and other work is indispensable.
- Preventive maintenance has two basic elements, in order to detect the occurrence of downtime or other faults caused by the regular inspection of the equipment, in the initial stage of whether the above state can be ruled out for the adjustment or repair of the equipment overhaul.

Improvement and maintenance: When equipment breaks down, in addition to repairing the equipment, it is also important to make overall improvements to the equipment, such as changes in design and improved materials, to enhance the equipment's ability to operate and to facilitate future maintenance operations.
